Yuppers. Audio and HVAC were controlled by said touch screen, so if the touchscreen stopped functioning right after you turned the heater on full-blast and tuned into the all-mariachis-all-the-time station, you were officially up the creek...FOREVER.

Actually, I think every time you started the car, the HVAC started in the off setting. But not the radio. -_-
